It would be my guess that most of us aren’t really cognizant of the personal beliefs and notions that are really fueling our day to day thoughts and actions. Asking yourself probing questions and spending the time and energy to a listen to the answers can be enlightening, to say the least. So, that being said, here are today’s questions for your womanspace:
What do you want that you think you can’t have, and what makes you think you can’t you have it?
What do you want to do that you think you can’t do, and what makes you think you can’t do it?
Today, do something new and bold and fabulous.
Write a poem or a song.
Write a real letter to someone you love.
Plan a fund-raiser for a family in need.
Design a new email campaign for your business.
Rough out a book proposal for the book you’ve had in mind to write.
Create a plan for a women’s workshop.
Come up with an idea for a new non-profit organization that deals with the issues of community that you are most passionate about.
Sew a new outfit.
Paint a room. Or a single wall . . . or a chair…or a picture.
Do something that can serve as a symbol of your readiness to move your life forward.
Take a step, one baby-step, forward toward your High Places.
Welcome to the new Re-Inventing Your WomanSpace web spot !
Well … here I am over at my new home on my new self-hosted WordPress site while all my old website files are waiting to be cut and pasted into wordpress pages, and all of my old blog files and posts are still over at wordpress.com waiting for me to read and read and read until I figure out how to import them. Ugh … Right now i feel the same way I felt when I moved into my physical house… the one I’m living in now: A little bit excited and a little bit overwhelmed, waiting for my stuff to arrive and fill up the house and make it into home. Thinking of the potential of this place and daydreaming about all the things I can do (write about) here … and wondering what I can put up at the windows until the curtains are ready…
Ok … so we’re here to Re-Invent our WomanSpaces, right? To talk about what’s real, wild, fermented and sweet in our lives — not about blog software and the latest related meltdown of my sanity.
So, let me open the door of my new home to you and rummage through the boxes for a few matching cups and saucers so we can have some tea. You go turn on some music — something we haven’t heard in a while ~~~ huhmmm, how about a little of Carole King’s Tapestry or Ella Fitzgerald’s “A Tisket, A Tasket” ~~~~
… And let’s settle ourselves into lovely and deep, comfy armchairs and just BE for a bit … while I figure some of this out.
Love and Light
Esther
